There are no accounts. No personal data is collected.

Modified adjusted gross income and other tool inputs are used only to compute the answer. They are not logged.

Usage logs record the tool name, the timestamp, the result status when a tool returned one, the filing status when the call included one, and a salted hash of the IP address. When a client sends its name and version, those are recorded too. Logs are kept for up to 90 days.

The service is free. It is informational, and it is not tax advice.
